The Open Source Workshops are part of classes held at Technical University of Berlin. They are meant as forum for representatives from the government, companies and researchers. They are part of the course 'Open Source Software: Models for Development and Enterprise'. The workshops in December cover the topic 'development models'.

Debian Involvement

Frank Ronneburg and Martin 'Joey' Schulze from Debian will talk about the Debian Project as leading and large project within this sector. Special comments will be made with regards to issues raised in An introduction to Open Source Software Development
