Fifth Annual Southern California Linux Expo

The annual Southern California Linux Expo (or SCALE for short) is a conference about Free Software in general, trying to bring academic institutions, business and the GNU/Linux Community together. There will be an exhibition and a conference track. Attendees should register in advance and are allowed to vote for the SCALE award honouring best speakers, booths, products and projects.

Debian Involvement

Debian will have a booth at SCALE 5x where you can meet Debian users and developers from the southern california area (and those who have flown in for SCALE). Don Armstrong will also give a talk about From Sarge to Etch: what's new, how to upgrade, and how to stay sane.
